Global College International Youth Internship 2012 Call for Applications
The Global College International Youth Internship Program – Deadline for Applications February 27, 2012 @ midnight CST.
The University of Winnipeg Global College is currently offering internships through The Youth Employment Network (The YEN) based at the International Labour Organization abroad in:
- Indonesia
- Kenya
- Morocco (Education for Employment Foundation)
- Morocco (MEDA Maroc)
- Tanzania
These internships are 6 to 12 months long and include a minimum of 5 months working in a developing country.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada between the ages of 19 and 30. The applicant must be a post-secondary graduate who is unemployed or underemployed in their field of study, out of school and ready to begin their professional career. They must not have yet participated in an internship within the Career Focus stream of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment strategy.
The Global College CIDA-IYIP internships are graciously funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
