Who owns the intellectual property published on the LEPnet.org Web site?
Prior to making any materials publicly available, contributors are responsible for determining the correct ownership of the material and obtaining the appropriate licenses to make the material openly available on the Web. We will promptly remove any material that is determined to be infringing on the rights of others [See also What do I do if I believe a portion of LEPnet.org material infringes my copyright?].
The intellectual property policies created for LEPnet.org are clear and consistent with other policies for scholarly materials used in education. Contributors retain ownership of materials prepared for LEPnet.org while granting a perpetual, non-exclusive license for the content to be published on the LEPnet.org web site. If student project work is placed on the LEPnet.org site, then copyright in the work remains with the student.
